Q: Is Vada Spa accessible?

A: We are committed to providing an inclusive experience. Our location is equipped with a lift, extra wide stairs, and wide door entrances throughout the spa. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance so we can best accommodate you.

Q: Is there parking nearby?

A: Street parking is available in the surrounding blocks. We are also conveniently accessible by subway — the 1 train (Christopher St–Sheridan Sq) and the A/C/E/B/D/F/M trains (W 4th St) are both nearby.

Q: Do you offer gift cards?

A: Yes! Vada Spa gift cards are available for purchase in any amount, online or in-spa. They can be applied toward any service on our menu. Note: gift cards are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

Q: Do you offer financing or payment plans?

A: Yes — we offer financing through Cherry. You can apply for credit in 60 seconds at pay.withcherry.com/vadaspa.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Payment is due at the time of service.

Booking & Appointments

Q: How do I book an appointment?

A: Appointments can be booked online at vadaspa.com, by phone at 212-206-1572, or in person at the spa.

Q: Do I need a credit card to book?

A: A valid credit card may be required to hold your appointment. Your card will not be charged until after your service unless our cancellation policy applies.

Q: What happens if I arrive late?

A: Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service to avoid disrupting other clients. We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

Cancellations & Refunds

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee of $25 per guest, or forfeiture of a deposit.

Q: Are services refundable?

A: Service fees are non-refundable once rendered. If you have a concern about a service you received, please contact us directly and we will do our best to make it right.

Q: Can I return retail products?

A: Retail products may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase if unused, unopened, and accompanied by a receipt.

Q: What is the policy on packages?

A: Packages must be paid in full at the time of purchase. All package services must be used within 12 months from the purchase date unless otherwise stated. Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Q: What is the membership cancellation policy?

A: Monthly or yearly memberships auto-renew unless canceled in writing at least 7 days before the renewal date. Memberships are non-transferable and may not be shared. Unused services within a membership period do not roll over unless otherwise specified. Early cancellation of a membership may be subject to a cancellation fee. Promotional or discounted memberships are final sale.

Health & Safety

Q: Do I need to share medical information before my appointment?

A: For your safety, please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or recent procedures that may affect your treatment. Certain services may not be suitable for individuals with specific health concerns. Vada Spa reserves the right to refuse service if it may compromise the health and safety of the client or staff.

Body Contouring (Emsculpt NEO, Emsella, Emtone, Evoke)

Q: What body contouring treatments does Vada Spa offer?

A: We offer a suite of BTL Aesthetics technologies: Emsculpt NEO (builds muscle and burns fat simultaneously), Emsella (pelvic floor strengthening for incontinence and sexual function), Emtone (cellulite reduction and skin tightening), and Evoke (non-invasive facial remodeling).

Q: How many sessions do I need?

A: Most body contouring protocols recommend 4–6 sessions, spaced 5–10 days apart, depending on the treatment and your goals. Your provider will recommend a personalized plan during your consultation.

Q: Are body contouring treatments painful?

A: Most clients find these treatments comfortable. Emsculpt NEO feels like an intense muscle workout; Emtone delivers a warm, deep-tissue massage sensation. There is no downtime — you can return to normal activities immediately after each session.

Q: How soon will I see results?

A: Many clients notice improvements within 2–4 weeks, with full results typically visible around 3 months after completing a series. Results continue to improve as the body responds over time.

Laser Services

Q: What laser treatments are available at Vada Spa?

A: We offer medical-grade laser treatments including laser hair removal, the Pico Focus Facial, LaseMD Ultra, skin resurfacing, pigmentation correction, and tattoo removal. Our licensed providers will assess your skin and recommend the most effective protocol.

Q: How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?

A: Most clients need 6–8 sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart, depending on the treatment area and hair type. Darker, coarser hair typically responds faster.

Q: Is laser hair removal safe for all skin tones?

A: Yes — we use technology compatible with a wide range of skin tones. Your provider will select the appropriate settings for your skin type to ensure both safety and efficacy.

Q: How should I prepare for a laser treatment?

A: Avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for at least 2 weeks before your appointment. Do not wax or pluck the treatment area (shaving is fine). Arrive with clean, product-free skin. Specific pre-care instructions will be provided at booking.

Facials & Skincare

Q: What facial treatments does Vada Spa offer?

A: We offer a full menu of result-driven facials including deep-cleansing, hydrating, brightening, and anti-aging treatments, as well as HydraFacial, microneedling, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and LED light therapy.

Q: How often should I get a facial?

A: For general skin health and maintenance, we recommend a facial every 4–6 weeks. Clients targeting specific concerns such as acne or hyperpigmentation may benefit from more frequent visits initially.

Q: Can I get a facial if I have sensitive skin?

A: Absolutely. Our estheticians customize every treatment for your skin type and sensitivity level. Please let us know about any allergies, active skin conditions, or medications before your service.

Massage

Q: What massage services are available?

A: We offer Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, and lymphatic drainage massage, along with add-ons such as hot stones, aromatherapy, and cupping. Sessions are available in 60- and 90-minute durations.

Q: Can I get a massage if I’m pregnant?

A: Yes — we offer prenatal massage designed for expectant mothers. We recommend waiting until the second trimester and obtaining clearance from your OB-GYN before booking. Please inform us of your pregnancy when scheduling.

Nails & Hair

Q: What nail services does Vada Spa offer?

A: Our nail menu includes manicures, pedicures, gel polish, nail art, and extensions. We use professional-grade products and follow strict sanitation protocols for every service.

Q: What hair services are available?
